The most beautiful Italian in the world is Brazilian and a mother: Karina Miquelin, 26 years on 24th of July – 26 is the age limit to participate to the contest, brown hair, green eyes, height 1.76cm. Karina has been elected in Salsomaggiore, the Parmesan town traditionally scenery for misses, at the end of the live broadcast on Raiuno and Rai International presented by Carlo Conti supported by Mara Morelli, the winner of the last edition. To be pointed out, amongst the 40 who participated to the final, are the contestants coming from the UK: Miss Great Britain, Federica Amati, and Miss England, Jennifer Heskins.
The contest is open to the Italian girls living abroad. To the winner goes a Peugeot 1007, a jewel by Miluna and work contracts offered by Sash, principal sponsor of the event in Italy and of the Miss Italia organisation.
